Event Terms and Conditions

By registering for, attending, or participating in this Golf Day event (the Event), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Registration and Payment

All participants must complete registration via the official booking platform. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure participation. The organisers reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration at their discretion.

2. Cancellations, Refunds and Substitutions

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds, if any, will be issued at the sole discretion of the organisers and may be subject to administrative fees and applicable cut-off dates. No refunds will be issued for non-attendance. Substitutions may be permitted with prior approval.

3. Event Modifications and Cancellation

The organisers reserve the right to amend, postpone, or cancel the Event, including changes to the venue, schedule, format, or program. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be considered at the organisers’ discretion. The organisers are not liable for any additional costs incurred by participants.

4. Weather and Force Majeure

The Event is scheduled to proceed in all weather conditions. In circumstances deemed hazardous, unsafe, or beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions, the organisers and venue reserve the right to alter, suspend, or cancel play. No guarantee is made regarding uninterrupted play.

5. Compliance with Venue Rules

All participants must comply with the rules, regulations, dress codes, and directions of The Lakes Golf Course and event officials at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event without refund.

6. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Participation in the Event involves inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, participants acknowledge and accept all risks associated with attendance and participation. The organisers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. The organisers and venue accept no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

8. Photography and Media

By attending the Event, participants consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. These materials may be used by the organisers for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation.

9. Sponsorship and Commercial Activity

All sponsorship, branding, and promotional activities are managed exclusively by the organisers. Participants may not conduct unauthorised commercial or promotional activity at the Event.

10. Charity Contributions

All ticket proceeds from the Event will be directed to the nominated charity partners, the Black Dog Institute and the Medical Benevolent Association, following the Event.

11. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times. The organisers reserve the right to remove any participant for inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour without refund.

12. Alcohol and Responsible Behaviour

Where alcohol is available, participants must consume responsibly and comply with all applicable laws and venue policies. The organisers reserve the right to refuse service or remove individuals displaying unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the Event will be used for event administration and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

15. Acceptance of Terms
